Five ... lucky guess, and lots of summer school.

"a times b = b times a" where a and b can technically be anything as long as they both respond to "times" the same way (i.e. from left to right and right to left). Some things do not. For example, in the programming language Ruby you can multiply a string by a number but you can't multiply a number by a string.
=> 'hello' * 3
'hellohellohello' #this is okay
=> 3 * 'hello'
error #not okay

10 times 5. That's the commutative property.

If 5 x 10 = 10 times the number sentence, then the number sentence must be 5 because 5 x 10 = 50 and 10 x 5 = 50, but, is that what you were asking? I'd like to give you a meaningful, responsive answer, but, honestly, I have no idea what your question might be. Can you state it clearly and, if so, I will do my best to give you a reply that's worth reading and considering? :)
