One of the greatest British Prime Ministers ever, together with Churchill, Disraeli, and (from the Labour side) Attlee.

The best of the best PM stood head and shoulders above many before and all those that have followed her in office. Boris will be better

well, i certainly find it incredibly hard to understand how boris was in the same league of voting figures. and judging by his words and visits since, especially first speech, i think he should be reminded that tories have always been capitalist and believed in competition and that's where teresa may boobed and lost the big majority.

I voted for her. But eventually she went mad and they had to sack her. She did what we voted her in for, which was to sort out the trade union system, and scrap the dismal state owned nonsense companies.

The nearest thing to evil ever to be in No.10. She hated the workers of this country and made it obvious.

Her 1979 election promises were all fabricates just to gain office. She went on about the 1 million unemployed and how terrible that was. And, as her first attack on the working class, she increased it to 4.3 million within the year. Her greatest evil was then to make out that it was the unemployed who were to blame.

she did not hate workers she hated thieving Unions

in AU where most of our top union leaders were all British they have reduced membership to 18% of the work force because you cannot lie to workers who were paying more in dues than the Unions were Giving Back

As dictators go, not bad. As elected Prime Ministers go, only a dictator could have been worse.

Unfortunate, misguided short sighted woman but a great orator.

    ...

I don't think she was evil as others have said, she accepted the Ayn Rand pov that unrestricted greed was a great motivator, and it is to a certain extent but sooner or later you run out of people and materials to exploit.

She rescued the country from the looney left. With Labour in disarray she was pretty much unopposed - even abolished the GLC to get rid of Ken Livingstone. Some policies like flogging off council houses went down well, not so much not replacing them. She was not going to be brought down by Scargill like her predecessor was. Brought in a lot of anti-union legislation which Labour never reversed when it had the chance. Rating reform would be her undoing and ultimately the poll tax would prove to be one of the worst ideas anyone could come up.

The Tories created the GLC to expand the Labour-controlled LCC to bring in more Tory voters so they could take control but when that didn't work they abolished it! For all his barmy ideas, Red Ken was well ahead of the game in attempting to tackle pollution from vehicles in the capital.
