Will getting married affect ssi benifits?

Right now I receive ssi will my benifits go up if I get married she dosnt work or receive ssi would it be counted as essental person

    There is no such thing as an "essential" person in regards to SSI.  If she has an income it is possible your SSI will go down (since income is deemed from ineligible spouse to eligible spouse); if she doesn't it will stay the same.  SSI does not pay benefits to dependents.  It is a federal welfare program and it pays benefits only to financially needy people who are either disabled (SSI disability) or age 65 or older (SSI Aged).
