communist and socilaist are two different things

by combining both words in a sentence means that you have no idea of which you speak

No. Democratic socialists are much more conservative that even the conservatives of most other countries.

On the other hand, the future if Republicans build the wall is even bleaker than the Soviet Union in one way: The Soviet Union had enough farm workers, and was able to produce a lot of food, although not always enough. The U.S. produces almost no food without using immigrant workers and has no plan for how to feed itself without them.

    a)  The Soviet Union does not exist anymore. It split into 13 individual countries, all of which practise capitalism.

    b)  Russia is not a socialist country anymore, but is a capitalist country with a capitalist economy and run by corrupt businessmen and criminals.

    c)  There is no such thing as "Democratic Socialism". What people are referring to is a capitalist economy with some (a few) social reformist policies. Even countries with right wing governments, like Britain, Germany, Australia etc. are examples. SOCIALISM is just that, a socio-economic system which by definition is democratic in its mid to latter stages of transition.

    d)  Canada is a capitalist country with a capitalist economy and a democratically elected government that is centralist to center right by international political standards.

    e)  Communism, as an economic system, has NEVER existed anywhere in the world at any time at a national level, only at small tribal level. That is because people are naturally greedy, selfish and self-centred.

"Democratic Socialism" is not "Communist Socialism". "Communist socialism (Stalinism)" clearly failed in the USSR and Red China. Democratic socialism is closest to "National Socialism" and factually very much part of the Canadian government and western Europe. The focus of the "hate" has been shifted to "Bible lov'un, knee bending, praying, gun huggers" who are "despicable". But the core  of race hatred remains.

The USSR was not a Communist system. Communism was their end goal (hence the name of the Communist party), but the system was socialist. Fast forward a few decades and clueless college kids are confusing social democracy with socialism, an evil ideology responsible for millions of deaths.

My grandmother works for a hospital in Maine. When Canada implemented Medicare For All, Canadians came flocking to the United States to go to the hospital because the waiting lines in Canada were getting too long. My grandmother saw it for herself and she is a Democrat. However, neither of us support Medicare For All.

    • Canada has medicare for all? Do tell!
