No. He wasn't even thrown out of the game, while Ventura was tossed on the spot. The home plate umpire ruled that he did not intentionally hit Ventura. League Prsident Bobby Brown, when ruling on possible suspensions (Ventura got two games), ruled that if the umpire didn't see anything to punish Ryan for, he couldn't punish him.

Ryan was never suspended. He was only ejected once, and that came the season before the Ventura incident, when Ryan and Oakland's Willie Wilson had been jawing at each other throughout the game. Wilson tripled off Ryan and the jawing continued. Next time up, Ryan hit Wilson on the foot and was ejected.

Nolan wasn't even ejected from that game.  No suspension either.  Ventura was ejected and suspended for two games.  Nolan kept pitching after the fight and got the win that night.
