How do I see saved files on an iPhone SE with a broken screen and unknown password?
My daughter has been grounded from her phone and today my wife found her with a phone, not her own.
In a fit of anger, my wife threw the phone, effectively busting the display.
Our daughter will not tell us where she got the phone, or what the password is. (The display is busted, so a password wouldnt help us anyway.)
We have always been Android Users, they just seem more user friendly.
So none of us have itunes account or any knowledge of iPhones at all.
We would like to be able to at least pull up whatever she had saved to the phone and maybe get some context clues as to where this phone came from.

not only do you have no way of accessing the contents of that phone,
but you also owe its owner a replacement screen or maybe an entire new device.
And if your daughter somehow managed to buy it legitimately,
you still owe Her a remedy, even if you don't let her use it for a while.
Parents who have fits of anger when dealing with their children
do little more than set an extremely bad example.
You want your kid to grow up to be a decent adult?
First and foremost Be One Yourself.
I don't have children, so I haven't had to deal with them as a parent.
What a relief!

Breaking phones is common with troll parents. Have you threatened with putting her in the front yard when the sun comes up?
