She wrote 'Little Women', I'm not sure that she signed it though.

It is an "autographed copy" of her book, a book signed by the author.

If Miss Alcott inscribed it to a friend or a family member, the book is a treasure.

What is it?  It's a book, written and signed by her.

If she signed any they're probably in someone's collection.

A rarity, that's what it is. Actually, I possess an original, first-issue copy of her "Little Women" book that she spilled gin on on pages 12 through 16, which is just as good, in my opinion.

AbeBooks--the premier seller of collectible books online--has no copies of any of her books that's signed by the author.

She's most famous for "Little Women," of course. I presume with the new movie coming out, there is renewed interest.

She probably signed some copies of all her books.
