two kittens were taken from San Jose foot hill. Is there any chance that they were taken by wild animals?

Did you google wild animals in San Jose Foothills? An owl could've eaten them. Or a Bobcat, or any large wild animal.

If the kittens were outside alone, then likely they were taken by wild animals and are dead.

Predators such as hawks, owls, and coyotes are very active in southern California suburbs. Small animals left outdoors are at great risk.
