I want to take an art course in college(animation and game design mostly) and right now I have an A in my graphic design class. ?

Will colleges care if I have bad grades in physics, algebra, or English even tho I have an A in the current area of study I want to enroll in in college?

You need to have a decent GPA overall in order to get into (and stay in) college.

If your GPA is at least 3.0 you shouldn't have any trouble. Any lower, your choices of colleges will be more limited.

Yes, they'll care. Your overall GPA matters a lot.
