is this normal?

I usually always smile or laugh whenever something bad is happening. For example two persons could be in front of me fighting/killing eachother and id just be smiling looking at them.

Does it feel uncomfortable or do you get actual joy from it?

Do you do it when you feel awkward? Or don't know how to respond to things? Probably a coping mechanism that you use. I think a decent amount of people do this.
