If a killer threatens to kill your family member if you don’t kill a random person, is it justified to kill?

I’m watching the movie Rattlesnake on Netflix and this problem arises. Is it morally justifiable? How would it hold up in court? What if the killer shows that they have intention and the power to kill your family member regardless if you tell the authorities?

It's best not to do things evil people push

You into. Just stand there and say nothing

After they threaten your family. Wait until

You have the advantage and can kill the

Evil people or knock them out and get them

Tied up and get your family out of there or

Call the police. Every situation requires

A different set of steps to make it successfully

Work or get fixed. Use whatever you have

To bring them down and accept the fact they

May kill some of your family before you can

Bring them down. Fights get crazy and only

Get worse if you fully submit to them.

In the movie, the actress has until sunset to kill another person or her daughter will succumb to a rattlesnake bite. Hypothetically, telling the police will only make it impossible for you to kill someone and get away
