renwed early i Dec. for renewal of 6/2020...the dmv issued license with ex. year of 2024 l year less!?

I renewed early in this Dec. for renewal of June 2020

the DMV issued expir. of 2024 instead of 2025

    The only reason I can think of might be:  December 1, 2019, you renewed a license that wasn't  due to expire until the following year (in June 2020).  December 1, 2019 became the new "effective date" on your license. 5 years from 2019 is 2024.

    Thanks for letting us know.  I'm sure they are not able to issue you a license that is valid for over 5 years.... so you will have to renew again in 4.5years.

    Go back and ask them.  We can't do anything and you changing the date with a sharpie isn't recommended.
