Is belief in Jesus Christ the only requirement for salvation?

Of course not.  Notice what the Bible writer James wrote about that.

(James 2:19) "You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder."

He also wrote this at James 2:26--"Indeed, just as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."

Jehovah's Witnesses can help you with that.

Nope. Jesus Christ says that he shall reward us according to our works, and faith without works is dead. Obviously not the only requirement.

If you think so then, yes.

    Else, no.

I saw from the Bible that it was not enough just to acknowledge to God that we are sinners and in need of salvation,” he says. “We also have to do works that befit repentance.”—Matthew 3:8; Acts 3:19.

We need to repent, i.e. admit our guilt, turn from our sins and turn to Jesus, trusting that He is Who He said He is, that He paid the full penalty we owe to God, that we cannot earn or deserve this Gift of Grace given to us by our faith in Jesus Christ. This faith we have will produce good deeds.

No, just belief is not enough. You have to prove your beliefs through"Obedience" because it is written in

Matt 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

And James stresses this point in

James 2:19-20 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that —and shudder. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

Yes, with the correct definition of "belief". It means more than just acknowledging that He existed. Even most atheists know that. It means accepting Him into your life and living as He calls us to live. Anyone who claims to "believe in" Jesus Christ, but lives a life of sin or indifference is deluding themselves.

John 17:3. Jesus said himself that coming to know the "only true God" whose Name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) and the one He sent Jesus means everlasting life. jw.org

  • YES. God accepts those who believe in Him.

Only if you are a Christian. Most people on this globe are not Christian, and they find salvation and fulfillment through other methods.
