Do men really stop thinking about sex after a certain age?

I know a man who is 67 years old and his health and physical strength aren't in the greatest condition (high blood pressure, etc.) He claims he doesn't even think about sex anymore or care about doing it. ....Is he telling the truth?

He might be major depressed. Hes in a bad phase of his life. He might be happy for short periods. He is telling the truth for this moment. Not tomorrow. It might change if he won the jackpot.

Probably yes. Lower testosterone levels in older people can lead to lack of interest in sex. Besides, high blood pressure and its effects on blood vessels are known to lead to erectile dysfunction, consequential fear and anxiety, and reduced sexual desire. At times, medications to treat high blood pressure have similar effects.

Obviously if you can not even masturbate, because of some kind of illness, or physical disability, you are not going to think about sex much.  But if a man can still get excited, and hard, he will think about and want sex.

Answer is for entertainment purposes only. Zero liability.

Testosterone helps maintain a number of important bodily functions in men, including: sex drive

Testosterone levels have nothing to do with sex drive. For instance, eunuchs and rapists who were castrated as part of their punishment often had much higher sex drives than ever before they lost they lost their gonads.

It is different for different people.  Sex drive seems to go down as guys get older.  A 50-something year old said he lost interest in such things, and I know a 90-year old that has not lost interest.  So the 67-year old that you know may be telling the truth.
