What would have happened if Jesus gave into temptation by Satan in the desert? Would that have turned Jesus into a disciple of Satan?

If Jesus lost that battle against Satan and gave into temptation, would people mostly be worshiping Satan today instead of worshiping gold statues of bulls and Jesus?

This outcome is impossible. It is the same concept behind there being no such thing as a square circle.  The purpose of the lesson was to show us how to defend ourselves against spiritual attacks by the devil.  It was also used to show us just how desperate the devil is.  Even when he knows it is impossible,  he will still try to corrupt souls.  It was fulfillment of prophesy.

Jesus used scripture to rebuke the devil and it works just as well today as it worked then.  Reliance on scripture is our defense against the accusations and influence of the devil.  In the name of Jesus Christ we have the answer to any weapon formed by darkness.

The "alternate ending" to anything in the Bible is oblivion.  If God lies or if the Messianic prophecies are not fulfilled then the result is a void.  All of creation relies on the truth of God's prophecy and keeping His promises to us.

Jesus would have lost the opportunity to be our savior, and God would have had to send another of his sons to become our savior and redeemer from sin and from death.

  • Nothing - Who was the witness to that . Did the Devil testify to the event '

Devil " Yeah guys for sure and you all know how humble i am - Jesus wouldn't give in and won so kudos the the Son of God "

Jeswus " Oh Smack Every one and we all know how Humble i am _ The old Serpent lost and i ripped him a new one- Halla Halla Halla  "

Does that story even make sense - Like Satan was tempting God .

And Jesus being the New Moses who goes into the wilderness for 40 days

    is so anthropomorphized .

If He had you wouldn't be asking that question as we wouldn't exist.

That's like asking what would have happened if Cinderella hadn't dropped her shoe.  It's just a story.  A myth.
