Can you hold the rim when u serve cups?

also how do u dry cups?

    You could hold the rim, but depending on what your serving you could burn your fingers.

    I put the cup over my towelled hand and dry the inside and the outside together

    with the loose part of the towel.

    i try to grab towards the bottom for the most stability.  Also, touching the rim? GROSS!

    It's frowned upon. Empty or full, you should never touch the rim of a glass since it's possible that a person will be sipping from the cup, especially with the ongoing elimination of straws in many places.

    Hold it from the side or the bottom.

    You dry a cup either upside down in the air or by holding the bottom of the cup and using a towel.

    you can--but it is absolutely putting your icky fingers all over the surface someone is about to drink from--ewww...if you were a waiter I would tell you to take it back.
