If you could change U.S. immigration law, would you make it more normal -- like other nations? E.G. Stricter? Or even stupider?

No idea what you consider normal, The US immigration system take in more legally then any other nation per year. Does it have some issues? Yes, A friend had to wait a decade for citizenship, that is to long. Trumps plan, after the wall, was to stream line it, shorten wits and increase the numbers but also increase the bar as to who we wanted to come in.

The US should have immigration laws which are similar to other countries. Canada and Mexico have stricter laws. If a tourist has a baby while in the US that baby can be an American citizen by birthright. The US immigration laws should focus on bringing people in who have skills that are needed in the workforce.
