How many boneless chicken breasts equal 1 1/2 pounds of boneless thighs?

You won't believe this but it is true, 1.5 pound of boneless chicken thighs equal exactly 1.5 lbs of boneless chicken breasts. Incredible to believe but it is true.

that would depend on how big the breasts are.
How big are they?

1 + 1/2 POUNDS OF CHICKEN BREASTS.
Get the butcher / meat merchant to weigh them for you.

Weight wise, 24 ounces or 1.5 pounds. Flavor wise, you'll never get there. Fat wise, you will have to add some olive oil.

1 1/2 pounds. Breasts vary in size. You need a kitchen scale. They don't cost much.

I get Foster Farms Chicken Breast from Costco. They claim the package averages about 10 pounds for six pouches of two breasts. Which means an average of 1.66 pounds for two breasts.
I pick smaller packs to get two breast pouches that average about 20 ounces (1¼ lbs.)
Or you can go to a supermarket with a live butcher and exactly what you want.

1 1/2 pounds. You know chicken breasts vary a lot in size?

1/1/2 lbs. (Chicken breasts, like thighs, come in all sizes, so you can't translate a number to pounds.)
