Add it as soon as you remember, it should mix in ok, if not add a little more liquid [whatever you've used in the mix already].

If you are making cookies, not much of a problem, add the flour but do not over mix.

If you are making a cheesecake I would suggest you remove a bit of the batter, stir in the flour so there are no lumps then add that back in and stir to combine, do not over mix or you will beat air into the batter and you don't want that.

Cake, again not a problem, add the flour and stir to completely mix in.

So add the flour and re-mix the ingredients.  If all you have done is mix them you can still add the flour (or other ingredients) and mix it some more.

Depending on what you are making, you might find that you have to add a tiny bit more liquid (water or whatever the recipe requires) to re-moisten the batter so the flour will blend in.
