Should I move to Canada to avoid the draft?

    Who needs a relocation when Daddy can just hire a doctor to make up an infirmity.

    I am of that generation myself.  I actually considered immigrating to Canada.  Pierre Trudeau (Justin Trudeau's dad) was PM then and he actually made a speech inviting American young men to Canada.  I was up there during that time, and a lot since.  Canada has some serious advantages over the US!  Now I wonder how my life would be different today.  And I wonder if I could have dealt with the winters.
