Pretty close if not exactly. He might retire when he’s a toothless old lion.

    No,

By Russian law he has to resign by 2024, its mandatory, much like how a US sitting president can only serve two terms.

Putin is 64, that would put him at 69 by the time he has to exit office, barring a serious health issue(s), he'll still be alive come that time.

Well, he'll probably do what he did before serve as president for the 2 terms, drop out become Russian Prime Minister, then run for president again (which he can do) if the Russian people still want to play that game.

Trump is jealous that all the dictators aren't subject to term limits.

Yes. He cannot afford to ever leave office.....as he could be brought to trial for his crimes by any of the leaders after him....

Perhaps not.  The good people of Russia would like him out.  Tens of housands protested for fair and honest elections before his last election.

Unlikely. Even when Dmitry Medvedev was president Putin was actually running things.
China has accepted a president for life.
There's no reason to think the same won't happen in Russia.
Trump is doing his damnedest to do the same here.Yet another reason to throw him out (as if there weren't enough)

If that's what he wants then it looks that way.  Unless there is a revolution, Putin has established a lifetime dictatorship that has eliminated political rivals and intimidated the press.

No.  He will be elected President of the USA in 2024.

Or until some other Russian gangster accumulates enough money and power to throw him out.  So far that doesn't look very likely.
