What are the differences in technology between a laser printer and a laserjet printer?

    absolutely identical. Laserjet is just a term used to differentiate from inkjet.

    Laserjet is HP's line of laser printers.

    None. LaserJet is a brand name which HP use for their laser printers.

    That's like asking the difference between a pickup truck and a Ford pickup truck.

    Laserjet is a brand name.  HP makes them.  They are laser printers.  Other companies make laser printers also, but they can't call them Laserjets.
