There are different brands such as Martin, Fender, Ovation, Washburn etc. There are different quality such as cheap and expensive. There are nylon string classical guitars and steel string accoustics. There are six string guitars and 12 string guitars. There are electric acoustic guitars with internal pickups, there are non electric acoustics. There are small travel acoustic guitars and full body guitars. There are many variations to acoustic guitars.

It depends what you mean by “kind”.
Basically there are nylon string and steel string acoustics.
There are six and 12 string acoustics.
There are resonator acoustics (like a dobro).
There are acoustics built for playing slide.
There are round hole flat top acoustics and f-hole acoustics (sometimes called “cello guitars” in the UK.
There are acoustics without a cutaway and acoustics with a cutaway.
There are any number of “kinds” depending on how they are categorised.
