I have a GPA of 2.0 right now, and I'm in 2nd quarter of my sophomore year. do you think It's possible to bring my gpa to 3.4 in 2 years?

    Well, you could do the math this way.  Assume in the first two years, year GPA is 2.0, but for the second two years, it is 4.0.

    2 + 4 = 6.  And 6 divided by 2 = 3.0

    very unlikely. you are half way through to graduation and the maximum grade is 4.0 [5.0 if you're in high school and take AP classes]. Absent AP classes, even pulling a 4.0 from here on out would only raise your cumulative GPA to about 3.0

    strategy; change schools. Many schools calculate GPA based only on the work done at that school. [oh! my!]
