How to loosen my sweater after the wash?

I washed my sweater and it shrank. I think I put in the dryer and the hot air made it shrink. So, now what should I do? Any tips? Thanks.

Wash it again in lukewarm water, without rinsing hang it to dry in the open air.

Wear it.  It stretches.  Wool which is used in most sweaters have curly strands to the fibre.   So the curls tighten up.  When you wear it you stretch the curls out again.    From now on air dry it by hanging it on a clothes line you string up indoors and let it hang and it shrinks less.

Give it to your little sister and buy a new one.  This time, read the washing instructions, and follow them.

Im not aware of any way you can enlarge it again. I always hang dry shirts/sweaters/hoodies
