Won't impeachment fail if the judges that are dealing with Trump's impeachment charges, are judges in the courts were placed there by Trump?

Update:

@Sally if there's a judge that is in place by Trump, that could be a conflict of interest. And if that judge does deal with the Trumps impeachment charges, the judge could easily pardon Trump, then Trump could end up trying to get revenge on Congress, if that could be done.

After everything is said and done, it could end up getting  worse.

Trump appointed honorable people to be judges. No Democrat ever thought about voting for an honorable Democrat.

The only way for judges to get involved at this point, is if the house brings those subpoenaed to testify, but didn't, to court. As is the way the process is set up. They did not, they went with the bullying and taunting trying to shame or force them to testify. As opposed to going by the path already provided to them. That s becouse in court, they would have to present actual evidence. They don't have any and knew they would lose.

No, it will fail because the Republicans in the Senate aren't going to play along with this political kabuki theater. And the Senate is the 'jury'. Just like in Congress, the left isn't going to get a single vote. And that is NOT because they're politically biased and self interested. It is because the left is WHACK.

True.  It's a long shot attempting to make the US government functional.

The "judges" in the impeachment trial will be the U.S. Senators, but yes, since Mitch McConnell controls the Senate, Trump will probably not be convicted. However, he will still be only our third impeached president.
