how do you know when the dog is low in sugar, shall we give the insulin when it is low?

    Insulin will cause a further decrease in blood sugar level.

    insulin is released in the body when blood sugar levels get too high-- with my dog, we give it to him 12 hours apart, at 9 and 9, with boosters only if he got into a lot of food he wasn't supposed to.
