Ciabatta lovers, when bought from a bakery do you eat it cold the way it is, or heat it in some way, and do you slice it?

it depends on how you want it. its fine to eat it plain, but you can cut it through the middle and use it for sandwiches or cut slices of it and make crostinis. our local market doesnt have a good selection so we end up using ciabatta in place of a baguette. some fine cheese, artichoke dip, or meats all go very well with it.

I eat it as it is. If there's any left over, I put it in the freezer. I Thaw it up the next day in the micro and put it in the air fryer for a minute or two to get that crunchy crust again and it taste just like freshly baked again, and yes. I slice it.
