How to boost your child's immune system ?
My child keeps missing school because he gets some new illness at least once a week. Just last week he had strep and now he seems to have the flu.. is this normal ? He was a stay at home child for a long time so I know his body has to catch up with the world but is there some way to strengthen him so he isn't getting sick as frequent ???

Its completely normal to have occasional periods like this. Its pretty common for children to have a chain of successive infections from time to time because some viral infections reduce immunity for up to several weeks following an infection.
Children build immunity by getting exposed to various infections. Adequate sleep, good diet, exercise, and good hygiene are the only things you can do to maximize immunity. You could send him to school with some sanitizing hand wipes (such as Purell) and instruct him to avoid touching his face or food without using the wipes or washing his hands at a sink. But this is not likely to make much difference.

You did not mention age, but kids tend to pass things around in during the elementary years, fairly consistently. They will just about start getting better for Christmas break, then all those families traveling, all those kids exposed to what is running around in other areas. They come back from break and it all starts up again. Proper sleep and diet is about the only things that one has control of.
