If God is so loving why He didn't punch us when we do bad things?

He doesn't need to. He gives us our conscience.

There is nothing loving about punching someone when they do bad things. Children do a lot of bad things because of their foolishness and ignorance. Even when warned that a certain thing would have bad results, having it explained to them, then they do it - would a loving parent punch the child? Of course not!  How would you like to be punched every time you did something bad? That would just cause you to hate the one punching you! Within a week you would be black and blue!

God's love is shown in gifting us His Son, who took the punishment we all deserve for all that we do wrong (our sin). Jesus stood in our place and was literally punched, whipped, humiliated and then crucified though He had done nothing wrong, let alone bad. He enabled God's righteous judgment on all sin to be borne by Himself, then God could freely pardon repentant sinners who trusted in what Jesus had achieved.

Because GOD is full of Mercy to mankind and HE is off forgiving ready to forgive for those who ask for repentance , that is why GOD delay the time of punishment for us to repent then. GOD is Great.
