What do you think of these haiku poems?

The youth is gone now

Wrinkles sip milk and honey

Greedy graves grab bones.

I can dream of you

Whispers are like a mouth’s tears

Must your kiss haunt me?

A tree stands alone

In a yard without children

No flowers blossom.

The moon holds the world

Stars wink back like an old man

Our fates are too short.

Man and woman sit

On an hourglass hissing

Must dust fill us all?

A powerful collection of barnyard poetry. I especially like the line about chickens.

Some nice lines but it's time to grow beyond the syllable count that often ruins a nice image.  Here's something you can read to help you sharpen your Haiku.
