Coffee, tea, and soft drink stains are generally removed in the wash, while stains from candle wax, salad dressing, and peanut butter requires special treatment. WHY???

    PB & salad dressing are OILS. so you need an oil remover. A dab of cream hand cleaner onto the dry wash and toss in with laundry and it washes out the oils.  WAX is totally a "Witch"  You don't #uck with that.  That treatment is so special go to YT.

    The first items are generally water soluble. The other things are oil or wax based and are not readily water soluble except by the use of strong detergent.

    Because wax, salad dressing and peanut butter have oils while coffee, tea and soft drinks don't.
