Do Apple devices support SD cards yet, in 2019?

It's been a while since I've touched an iPad or iPhone.

Do either of these support SD cards yet, or is Apple still trapped in the stone age?

I'm honestly not sure, but one might try an Apple-style USB-on-the-Go cable with a USB-based SD (or multiple-slot) card reader.

Still trapped in the Stone Age. Why fix what isn’t broken. People will continue to buy iPhone and iPads even though they can’t expand the storage capacity.

If Apple let people use SD cards that’s going to take away from apple’s profit. Apple doesn’t make SD cards so it’s not making any money.

You seem to be trapped in the stone age as well, considering you can just Google this.
