SF: Juwan Howard

C: Dale Davis

VS

Portland would have won the deal because Pippen was past his prime, while Juwan was still in his prime.

Tbh neither by the looks of both teams. But no way would Juwan Howard play sf. He would be pf and Sheed would be center.

I think Portland would have gotten the better of the deal. The bigger and better to ask about Pippen is, if he had not been drafted by the Bulls, how many titles would Michael Jordan have won and how would if have affected his legacy.

I think rip city would have gotten the better deal because pippen was a shell of his former self at that time. He only went on to play in the nba for a few more years before retiring and then playing overseas. He was 38 at that time and very few players are productive at 38. Howard was drafted 7 years later so he still had a few years left in him. He was 30 at the time so he’s somewhere in his prime.  He managed to average double figures in points for the next 3 years.
