Etiquette: should I send wedding invitations to the more conservative members of my extended family if I am marrying another man?

    It would be a show of good faith to invite them and let them make their own decisions. Being politically conservative doesn't necessarily make one a homophobe (as people like Rick Grenell, Ken Mehlman and the Log Cabin Republicans demonstrate).

    You should invite anyone you or your fiance would like to have at the wedding.

    Do you want them to attend the wedding? The yes invited them. They can always RSVP no. Don’t assume a guest can’t make it or doesn’t want to come. Let them make their own decision
