What is it you are trying to do?

If you use fraudulent passport to enter the country, the embedded chip will not match the passport's details so that will be you off to the chokey for a good long time.

If you use a fraudulent passport as ID for work purposes, you will not be able to produce the rest of the information you need such as a social security number.

    So you wasted your money.

It is inconsistant with a real one, in a number of ways and trained professionals pick them up very quickly at border control and/or when the person tries to get a visa

Some things can be obvious to the untrained eye. Uneven typing/printing, misalignments, misspellings, peeling "skins" on a page, bubbles around a photo or a trace of a cut.

Know your source! ONLY obtain a passport from official govt agency, submit passport application only to proper officials. E.g. in US, many post offices have certain days-hours where someone is authorized to verify identification, receive passport application & payment to pass on to official who screen the application, prepare the passport, etc.

However, only professionals know of certain security features or need some sort of equipment to spot certain things. Complete info on security features is intentionally unavailable to reduce forgeries, falsifications, alterations, etc.
