Why are pop tarts still a breakfast food even if they're unhealthy with lots of sugar?

99% of breakfast cereals are almost pure sugar with a little grain thrown in to call it a CEREAL! Pop tarts are probably healthier.

Because we don't have the food police in power yet in the nation. We still have the "if you don't want to eat it don't buy it" policy.

Have you taken a good look at children's cereals lately? Poptarts are no worse than that garbage.

It's also considered bread. It's like a pastry.

They shouldn't be a breakfast food. In fact, they should not be eaten any time of the day.

Because a lot of people love them and don't care about being unhealthy. If Kellogs make lots of money from them they won't stop selling them
