How deep can Uranus be penetrated?

Before the planets gravity would make it impossible for a craft to escape?

    You have the wrong idea.

    penetration doesn't influence escape velocity

    Probably to the solid core

It has only about 1/4 of Jupiter's Gravity in about 1/2 its Mass

Source(s): Thank you for a serious question about Uranus... It is about time NASA went there
