    at 33º, the force normal to the surface is mg cos 33

    and friction is mgµ cos 33

    force parallel to the surface is mg sin 33

    set them equal

    mgµ cos 33 = mg sin 33

    µ = sin 33/cos 33 = tan 33 = 0.649

    μs = tan 33° = 0.65
