Why do Republicans think 50K a month is a ridiculous amount for a lawyer with a degree from Yale to make?

A lot of lawyers with an Ivy League education easily make $300 an hour and on the low-end work 40 hours a week. 2,000 hours a year X $300 = $600k. 50K a month X 12 months = $600k.

Because they'd be happy with 50 K a year themselves?

Why work 40 hours a week or more if you get paid 300 an hour?

I assume it's not the numbers, but that they don't believe it is as honorable as other professions such as a surgeon etc.

    Liberal projection is staggering.

Republicans never said that.  Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Barak Obama believe that "people make too much money"...unless, of course, those rich people are Radical Communist Democrats.  It's okay if THEY are rich.

Republicans hate it when any educated person (whom they define as all being "liberal") actually uses the free-market to better him/herself.  Successful, hard-working, tax-paying liberals ruin their racist rhetoric about liberals being welfare junkies.  The jealousy and envy runs deep in these willfully uneducated right-wing know-nothings who know they won't earn $600,000 in their entire lifetimes.

Why do you construct bizarre straw man fallacies and worship Mammon? Are you a Jew?

Look in the mirror...do you really think working hard is the purpose of life?
