An omniscient god would have known Eve would succumb to temptation, would he not? Why, then, did he leave her alone in the Garden?

God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, Man AND Woman, gave both Adam and Eve FREE WILL when He created them. As a characteristic of God, He trusted them to do the right thing, but allowed them to be tempted.

When was the last time you were trusted to do the right thing and you ere tempted away by sin?  Yeah, same difference..

If you have read the entire bible, you will discover that the lineage of Mary, mother of Christ leads all the way back to Adam. This was the purpose of God's purpose and  prophecy, to give way to the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Not just to keep Eve out of "trouble"..

But despite their being forced out of paradise, Jesus came along centuries later.. See how God works things out despite the odds?

Why are you trying to mess with Judaeo Christian theology. Without original sin, there would be only the acts of individuals that would be a sin, and not everyone would need to be redeemed, to be saved. Were you a true believer, you would recognize that Eve's sin somehow found it's way into the human genome, and all mankind need salvation, through the church, with a priest inserting himself between sinner and salvation.

  • in Islam, we acknowledge that Eve was created by the Shaytaan (devil) as an instrument to tempt the Prophet Adam alayesalem into having lustful thoughts and later lure him into eating the forbidden fruit. According to Sura 8:56 When Allah (may His name be praised) created the first man, Prophet Adam alayesalem, he was perfect without any evil desire. The Shaytaan wanted to destroy the creation of Allah, and so he took water and dirty and fashioned a woman. When the prophet Adam alayesalem saw the woman, he noticed that she was enticing to gaze upon and lusted after her. Eve took the Prophet Adam alayesalem to the tree of knowledge and life, and they partook of the fruit. Jabir bin Umar narrates that;  Allah punished the woman (Eve) and said that her descendents (meaning all women kind) shall serve their husbands and submit to their every need. Allah, in His divine mercy, chose not to destroy the woman but to use her in order to bring fourth more children of Adam. In other words, Allah, the all-knowing and wise, has used Satan's creation for a divine good purpose, and as we can see, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was indeed a descendent of Adam and Eve.

    • That is ridiculous. God is the creator of both Adam and Eve.

Actually, Eve was not the one being tested. Adam was.

Eve innocently ate of the fruit. That was NOT the first sin.

When Adam ate, THAT was he first sin. Romans 5:12

How so? He KNEW what he was doing. And chose to do it anyway.

God didn’t want his creations to be robots obeying his commands mindlessly. God wanted his creations to have the free will to choose to love and obey him.

    • The relationship was lost the moment they willingly took a bite and disobeyed God. Up until that moment Adam and Eve had a close relationship with God. Some time passed from when they were created to when they fell.

He gave her free will to decide her own destiny.

    • Islam has the answer to this question. Eve was created by the Shaytaan (the devil). Sura 5:56-60 explains that Eve was an instrument of temptation used by the Shaytaan to lure Adam alayesalem into having lustful thoughts.
