What you're really asking is if they caught you lying about being color blind. Would they kick you out. The answer is yes. They will kick you out for lying.

Don't they give the Ishihara Color Vision Test(the one with the little colored dots)any longer ?

Since you are unable to write English properly, I don't think that becoming an officer will be of concern to you.

the test regarding color blindness is administered BEFORE you are accepted for training.

Color blindness in and of itself is not a DQ for a commission although it does  limit the number of jobs you are eligible for

lie or omit anything, and you are booted for felony fraud and an officer would be more likely to get charged with it and have to carry that conviction with them the rest of their lives.

Colorblindness is a DQ to get into the Coast Guard Academy.

Yes, the service academies have entrance and commissioning physicals.  If you fail the commissioning physical, you aren't commissioned.  I went to the Air Force Academy with people that weren't commissioned, but graduated, because of medical issues that came up while they were in school.

If someone is already commissioned and something medical comes up that places them outside medical readiness standards, they will meet a med board.  That board will determine whether they stay in, are medically separated, or medically retired.

They will cross train people into another job only if they are medically qualified for it (for example a pilot no longer meets the standards of a flight physical but is still medically qualified for a ground job).
