Read what's being passed off as news these days, work purposes, and to pass the time. For work purposes, most of my Internet time is spent at Stackoverflow. I have to admit that a lot of the time it's easier to use someone else's solution than to write my own, lol. I'm a computer programmer and in all honesty not a really good one but I produce meaningful results and that's all they care about.

I use it for work. I also use it to communicate with family and friends. I use it to pay bills, and sometimes use it to buy things.

I use it for work a whole lot.  I use it to look up information, to get news, to connect with family and friends who live far away, to connect with people for my job, and for entertainment.
