 A horizontal plank 6.00 m long has a mass of 52 kg. Supports are placed at the left end

and 4.00 m from the left end. Find the normal force on the right support.

    So, the mass center is on 3m from left support and 1m from right support. Therefore 1part of mass is on left support and 3 parts on right. The force on right support = 3*52/(1+3)=39 kg
