My Dad only loves me when I am perfect, how do I change this?

    You could always tell your dad you only love him when he's perfect... no one is ever perfect by the way

    Sometimes parents carry high expectations for their kids and don't realize the pressure it puts on them if they feel that their love is conditional. I would recommend talking with your dad and letting him know you feel this way.

    I would bet my last dollar that he loves you good or bad.  Perfect or not perfect.

    Look at the situation again with a different view.
