To be a CPA, there is now a 5 year college education requirement.  At the minimum, you need to take courses which your state board of accountancy determines to be the equivalent of an accounting degree.  Those would include at least 18 credits in accounting, and 6 in business law.  The exact requirements would be on your state board of accountancy website.

You just  cant  take the  exam  for  a  CPA,  it is a process  of  professional  accreditation which  takes  at  least  12  months. Assuming  that  you have the  qualifications  to apply?  A  Bachelor of  Commerce  degree?
