Why do people think Christianity and Buddhism are similar?

I have seen a lot of people say that Christianity copied Buddhism during the Lost years. The problem with that idea is that Christianity has nothing in common with Buddhism. Christianity has God and Buddhism doesn't. Christianity has an afterlife and Buddhism doesn't.

The only thing Jesus and Buddha have in common is that they wanted people to be nice to each other. That is not really a unique concept though.

Buddhists copied Hinduism. Christianity is nothing like Hinduism.

Jesus exists and is God. A person can know these things with certainty by reciting the rosary daily and attentively.

What . You "reap what you sow" and Karma are the exact same thing except

enlightenment doesn't send you to hell .

Enlightenment is good in Buddhism and in Judean Christianity knowing good and evil

< which was originally FORBIDDEN > caused original sin and death .

Here - Christianity has borrowed some ideas and concepts from Buddhism while remaining unrelated .

Christianity copies all forms of earlier beliefs to some extent while posturing as sovereign  Isis was a virgin who gave birth before Mary and 3 to 4 thousands years earlier . Mithras was a dying rising harvest god symbolizing the renewing of life known in Christianity as being reborn . And earlier than the Jeswus figure . While Mitra was that son of god who was as Jesus some 1,500 years earlier .

No God or son of god is original or everyone would  be in agreement on said god .

They also have in common that if someone doesn't really want an answer, that his question is really an attack, you don't waste your time.

They truly have nothing in common.  At all.  Jesus is God and isn't a "religion".  Buddha was a blowhard with a fake "philosophy" that leads to hell.

Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.

    .

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death
