Cape Fear 1991 Robert De Niro?
Sam Bowden says " a lawyer should represent his client"
And Cady replys saying " a lawyer should zealously represent his client within the bounds of the law"
Who was right and who was wrong Sam or Cady?
Why did Cady say this and what did he mean?

They said the same thing. Cady just used more words.

They're both right.
Cady's reply is just more explicit.
He meant that representing ones client is the job of a lawyer but only if he keeps within the law. Lawyers aren't allowed to lie. They aren't allowed to tell their clients to lie.
