A money changer is a person or organisation whose business is the exchange of coins or currency of one country, for that of another.  Another term is a 'currency exchange service' but this would be a business whilst a money changer would be more likely to be an individual so the meaning is slightly different.

Stockjobbing is now obsolete.  Stockjobbers were institutions that acted as market makers in the London Stock Exchange. Prior to "Big Bang" in 1986, every stock traded on the Exchange passed through a 'jobber's book', that is, they acted as the ultimate purchasers of shares sold and the source of shares purchased, by stockbrokers on behalf of the latters' clients.  Another term would be 'market maker' but the meaning is slightly different.

One of the things that makes English such a great language for legal and literary purposes is the subtle difference of meaning between words that are almost but not quite synonymous.
