should the circumcision of male infants be outlawed?

Update:

shouldn't the mutilation of his genitals for whatever reason be a choice left up to the individual when he reaches legal age?

No because in some cases it is needed for medical reasons but that should be the only reason this procedure is carried out. For example, as a treatment of last resort for conditions such as a tight foreskin (phimosis) or recurrent infection of the foreskin and head of the penis (balanitis)

Btw, what should be done when men that are circumcised get balanitis? Should they just cut off the gland of his penis?

You're referring to the anti-pork brigades...the Jews and the Muslims who are into child-mutilation...NOT Christians.

As an uncircumcised male I am astonished that lopping off parts of the sex organs with no medical justification is not only allowed but encouraged in the United States.  Only Americans can come up with this kind of nonsense.

Worldwide it is Islam which has the highest number of multilated men... as Jews are a minor population size and nearly irrelevant in comparison. However in the US, the majority of multilations are for 'fashion' and 'custom' amongst Christians or non-religious. The proportion has been falling slowly

Yes, but we need a transition period, so that anti-Semites and Muslim-haters can't take advantage of it. Female genital mutilation is NOT an inherent part of ANY religion, being part of a tribal thing that some groups have GRAFTED onto Islam, so it can be banned right away without it being an attack on minorities.

Despite some misandrist idiots' excuses, male genital mutilation IS just as bad, and needs to be eliminated, but we need to be very careful about how we go about it because it IS an inherent part of two major religions, and we MUST NOT strengthen the hand of bigoted scumbuckets.

What would that transition look like? Not a clue. I'm not all-knowing and infallible, the way some of you think about yourselves, I just know we need a transition.

Absolutely not and it never will be. circumcision is a CHOICE that each parent has.

My son will certainly be circumcised and that’s the end of that.

Obviously. There is no reason to allow parents the right to remove healthy body parts from their children. There is also no good reason to allow doctors the right to cut off healthy body parts from their patients.

There are no "legitimate medical reasons" for Circumcision... but feminists want to butcher male children to reduce rape. So until all circumcision is illegal we need to equally mutilate both sexes.
